LET ME CLEAR MY THROAT

Ladies and gentlemen i am a research agent for my self and for the last 6/8months i have been on a quest to find and create a pedal assist bike. I have been on almost ever site that has popped up looking for engines parts builders and things.

What i have come up with is the TOP 3 company's, people, creators of pedal assist builders that showed themselves. Now im not saying that there are anymore out there i'm just saying show me 3 more company's with these looks these mods and based on this simplistic ideal and i will research them and put them up there also. Im sure there maybe someone out there but DAMN! they are going to have to be superb. I purchased a Grubee Skywawk GT5 thats what my pocket could afford,and i really like it so far. Now i have not been able to ride it because i am just a infant at building but i'm getting it together and learning as i go it may take me a couple more day's or maybe a week or 2 which would make the entire project about a month build but if i successfully do it then hey i'm the man. Remember i have never done this in my life so i'm happy with learning. anyhooooooo! check these out they are the hottest, and when i get some money i will have the pain staking job of choosing which one of these bikes to purchase first... Oh i have communicated with each one of these guys a couple of times and they are truly down to earth people and don't mind speaking with you so give them a call all of them have numbers on their site.

even though i am the founder of T.S.R. I must confess to you one thing! i have a issue with where i'm and it's so far out the way and i have not other transportation but my beloved BOTTECCHIA. I have appointments with my Dr. regularly which is at least 17.5miles from me and no bus line with in 6.5miles of me all hills. and open hwy. 55mph. and for those of you who don't know me i am a disabled vet and it is a leg injury and back so i have issue some times. You know i ride... T.S.R Style. I only ask for your forgiveness when i build a hybrid similar to the one pictured here. i only hope that i get a pass on this from you,and i hope you all understand. please let me know by leaving a blog message explaining thanks for your support

Now who's gonna ride like this? I ask you for Pete's sake and my too, although you know that the country is being blanketed with SNOW STORMS we are having a little snow fall like like DC, MARYLAND, OHIO, you know the rest of the story but enough to make you cautious about the people around you. Because they have truly lost their mind stores full no bread lines out the door, and the snow will melt by noon tomorrow...

I hope all my tru street riderz are doing well... Let's see Hmmmmmmmmmmm! i'm down the road from no where and around the corner form nothing. Where i'm located now you have no problem with putting in miles. it's so isolated that if your not careful you will end up so far out the way then you'll remember that you have to get back.

I love the area i choose this place about 2 years ago and i don't regret it but DAMN! when i ride i get so bored that i dont know what to do. I mean i road one day i'm not sure how far the only thing i know is that my energy level was zapped and i hadn't reach my location about a mile or two away,but i couldn't go any further, and i still had to return home.

Honestly i had to get off my bike and rest i was hot and spent even though it was not hot outside. I had to dress for the cool wind which was making my nose run and cool on my chest, i had gotten so hot that i got dizzy and stopped for about 5mikes...

Then i had to get back on and ride back which the MARINE in me would not allow me to stop but i sure took my good o'l time and my journey was up hill gradual for about 3-5mile so i exerted twice the energy going home. I say all that to say this after riding in the city with cars buses people stop lights ect for the past 2 years, becareful what you ask for because those long COUNTRY ROADS will ware your ASS out! WHEW!

Well today my fellow TRU STREET RIDERZ i want to tell you about the new bike group that i met their name is OUTSPOKEN in Columbia S.C.i met a Gentlemen named Lane Philips an older gent very nice. When i walked into the store he was working on a bike,i didn't ask for any assistance i was just looking around and he stopped and walked over to me and asked me did i need any help. I explained that i had just seen the sign and was looking for a place to maybe pick up a few things or if i needed mechanical work what were their rates. Mr. Philips broke everything down to me he was very soft spoken and knowledgeable. Not one time did he attempt to sale me WOW! see TRU STREET RIDERZ want to know they can trust who their dealing with. Good day TRU STEET RIDERZ Yesterday while cruzing around the S.C. i stopped at a place while waiting on family to handle some buisness and while we were there mid day i saw a pretty large size church and i said to,my people wow must be a big event or a funeral because everyone was dressed up. The thing that through me off was i saw a lady in a nice suite of course with a big hat but it (the suit)and hat were grey light grey. To me you dont wear those type of colors to a funeral but hey to each his own. I then saw some gentelmen come out the church in all black, i said to myself, self! self said huh! now thats strange why are they in all black? I began to see alot of cars women and men leaving the church but for some reason i saw no flags or no dark suits,ect... but what was so odd then i saw an OLDER GENTLEMEN PUSHING A BIKE... not just any o'l bike but a old school framed bike with the grillia bars basket in the front and get this! AN 18WHEELER MIRRIOR ON HIS HANDLE BARS. O.M.G. i'm not lying! in this image you will see the meaning of the word TRU STREET RIDERZ and with that i say to you get your tail out and get some if this gentleman can ride (ELDERLY) in a black suit dress shoe's and a 18wheeler mirrior on his bike bigger than him then you can ride your little lazy but's for a couple of miles... By the way it was a funeral May the lord of the world bless the families for there loss. everyone has a day please treat them all like there your last.

I didn't know that the early 1900's William Hoefler was a gentlemen doing tricks on a bike that today we call Fixies.. I should have known this just because history has shown us that there is nothing new under the sun and the only thing new is your take on things.

The Wheel was created back in the caveman day's as it were,but we think it came about through another era. I personally being a T.S.R. am lost to somethings, as much as i know there is twice as much that i don't know about bikes.

You will see the bike that first started the fixie crazy,and then you will begin to understand the history like i have. Not that you don't know but just in case you don't you will game further knowledge. A day of learning is a life time of knowledge! enjoy...

My tru street riderz how are you today? all is well and i hope that you are all safe in the street's that you all ride on. I just want to explain to the readers about my personal opinion of what i see is happening on the streets. I as a Tru Street Rider love the fact that the average adult 35plus years of age or older is taking better care of their health. Most of this age group in the area where i dwell are out there jogging walking running swimming but mainly Biking is what i'm speaking about. Biking is the best form of exercise, with the exception of swimming there is no type of exercise is biking! Not only is biking at the top of the list for low impact training it's extremely fun. If you choose as a bike rider you can become a great physical specimen. You can become a speed rider a course rider a tour rider or even a stunt rider, either way you will have extreme body control and great physical condition in order to compete at either one of these as well as having a great deal of fun in the process. So if your looking to gain your strength get into shape and have fun doing it get on a bike ride with a friend start off just around your block or a park and then build up after about 30 day's you will be bringing more riderz into the fold! Hey T.S.R. hope all is well... Today is a good day and i hope that everything continues to go that way. i'm a little disturbed about now my girl has a sprained leg. When we went out the other day she and i were having a great time and she on the way home some how began to limp.

As we were traveling back i kind of looked back at her and noticed her slight limp or so i thought it was i also dismissed it for a moment because it was getting a little dark i thought it could have been because of the shadows etc.

Upon further investigation i found that she was truly limping,and i was truly saddened. But let it be understood that when you play hard then you sometimes get banged up. All's she really needs is a little truing up and she'll be back to new. so i'm going to do that asap. Other than that the street are alive and well and we are looking forward to the riderz who may find themselves a new way of life and begin their own riding style. So T.S.R. until the next time keep the rubber side down.

CHEATERS WHAT DO'S IT MEAN

My definition of the word cheaters? Where will i start is a committed person having relations outside of their perspective house hold? Is it someone in class taking a test to better themselves,no to me is a person who loves to ride "MOTORCYCLES" not BIKES see bike is short for BICYCLE not Motorcycle! lets get that straight, if your going to use the phrase "BIKE" us TRU BIKE RIDERZ would love for you to call it something else like CHEATERS! The reason i say that is because true your on 2 wheels it has handle bars seats for 1/2 riders and it can get in and out of traffic without to much head ache! The main reason i say they Motorcycles should be called CHEATERS is they use other forms of energy to propel themselves, like gasoline! see us TRU STREET RIDERZ use 1type of fuel HUMAN FUEL so when someone say's do you ride bike's i say yes but when they reply so do i what do you ride i say BOTTECCHIA they may say Ninja, RSX, FATBOY,ect. just call them cheaters because you cheat when you ride if you really ride a BIKE you would use your own Hupower2 to get you there... so T.S.R. the lesson for today is stay "TRU" and keep it HU2 by the way MAN! i saw some PHAT Cheaters down a the Lil 5 today "RESPECT"

did you know that in 1907 UPS yes the delivery people had one of the first if not the first Bicycle Messenger service? well it's official that i didn't know! hey where do's this info come from? i guess in my quest to do a great blog and be a TRU STREET RIDERZ i find my self becoming a search aholic... and with that i also find myself finding info, that i would have never even known before. UPS in the Downtown Metro Atlanta area has 2 bicycle messengers to deliver their smaller volume packages,they say(ups)that it is quicker and easier to deliver in the downtown area by bicycle messenger including Midtown,Virginia Highlands and Buckhead. NO KIDDING! lol I do believe that we will see this grow in our near future. Their competitors will without a doubt catch on to this sooner or later. Remember T.S.R. this is where we come in they may have some people that like to ride,but can they ride "GOOD" like T.S.R. So keep your eye's and ears open because you may find your self in a position to do a job that will allow you to showcase your passion and pay you for it. Stranger things have happened!!

Hey T.S.R. I read today that in N.Y.C. the mayor passed a legislature that they are now attempting to make a law that all business owner's that have bicycle delivery and or messenger service has to wear a helmet by LAW. The Mayor also say's that the company's have to provide the helmets for all employee's no exceptions! i sent the link out to another Street Rider but didn't put it here,so will go back get it and send so you all can read it. Now you know whats next once they start small then they go BIG! I personally i don't have a probably with a helmet but making it a law is going to start something else!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! you know what i mean! ok T.S.R. get ready it's a coming! once it clears NYC then the trical down theory! On Critical Mass the last of October while on my way to the Mass up, my Head light fell off my beautiful BOTTECCHIA Bike. lol and i was stuck light less. So i made a mad dash to the closest place i could find well the second closest place the bike shop's cheapest light was $39.00 dollars. So i dashed to the next place which was LOWES yeah you heard me! Now i'm not saying i am a advocate for this place but i needed lights. so i found it. I said well this will do for now but after running the one light that evening i went and bought another 1 it's RED and the GLOW is wonderful as well they both blink. The cost is $4.99 a piece i also bought a Velcro straps to hold it down and BAAAAAAM! you got lights and the GLOW that is bight!

Good day T.S.R. I'ts the Monday after My first CM ride and boy was that a blast. Today i am just blogging with you all about being true to the "GAME" what is the game ask? it's the riding game,believe it or not we are a rare breed of folks seriously we travel at just above walking speed,we move along with flowing mobile traffic,we ride to the corner store to pick up milk,bread,eggs ect. we ride for health,we ride to commute,we ride cross country,we ride to sprint race,as well as we ride for the "TOUR" Some of us Spinn we need to get them on the street... lol

Never the less we ride and because of that we are the rarest of them all. Most everyone when the want to get in shape they want to jog hit the track tread mill, all these things are great and i say git ur dun, but Riderz are a very unique breed of people. You would not believe how many people wont ride because they say it's to hard image that! so i leave it up to you T.S.R. take someone out at there pace not your's show them how to ride, i mean if they don't know how to ride thats one thing i mean teach them how to ride whats the best size bike whats the right gear to be in etc, You all know it's not as simple as just jumping on and some people don't understand that so teach them. C'mon we can do it! i believe in us.. Any who have an extra special day today and keep the rubber side down!

you guy's i made it. i mean i had no doubt that i would,but the uncertainty of things alway's makes you wonder... WOW! this was a out Freeeeekin standing. We met up a Woodruff park started taking some shots and met up with my riding partner talk to and met some new TRU STREET RIDERZ then it was on! we started out with 40/50 riderz... Wait a min let me go back a min. The day was dreary wet and a lot of people didn't want to ride because of those facts. well some had maybe health reason's other's just well what ever. I was not going to mis this for any reason. the RIDERZ came out in MASSES Critical Masses lol we started out slow and smooth building our course as we were riding "remember this is my first CM" as we made our way down the street more riderz were adding on and on, by the time we got about 3/5miles out (projected) i looked backed and saw a sea of riderz... O.M.G. I'm stoked! as my youngest brother would say love ya DUDE! this was such a humbling experience for me. We continued to ride through the city and the CM crew were truly at large. I have a new found respect for anyone who rides not that i didn't have it before but for those who love riding so much that it consumes them even more than myself.... That's a strong feet. I met new riderz who who's bikes exceed the price of the average car drivers car. WOW! I am truly impressed with all riderz. I saw trikes old school trikes not new ones beach cruisers no gears wonderful female riderz strong and proud, MEN IN DRESSES that was funny! All n all my fellow T.S.R. this was the most invigorating thing that i have done in years that wasn't just me involved! I had a truly wonderful time and the Riderz were looking out for one another as it should be. The whole thing about CM is to bring awareness to those who don't ride and drive even just to go 2 blocks to get some milk and eggs, get a little exercise save some gas, watch out for the ones who don't have cars respect them like you want to be respected. Look at it this way the domino effect, you'r a walker you walk every where,i'm a rider i ride every where, then you got the car drivers,suv drivers,then the commercial drivers. The car driver doesn't like it when the the suv driver bogart's their way in the suv doesn't like when the big rig just moves in because they can, and the pedestrian doesn't like it when the bike riderz are on the side walks. The only difference is us riderz ride in the streets to give you your space but then we as riderz get disrespected by you when you are diving your cars,so at what point do you make even for us?????

That is still a saga. So if everyone would just show a little love to the next person especially us T.S.R we would all just get along wonderfully! don't you think! any who thanks to all the CM family world wide for this great event wonderful! Oh by the way i met and saw 1 ONE UNO LONE African American Woman rider last night WOW! i just blogged about the lack there of but she represented on her old school 10speed BIG UP'S TO CLOVER! U GO GURL!

Tru Street Riderz hope all is well today! today was an interesting day. I did some good riding and met some new T.S.R. wow! you guy's would not believe it. In the pictures you see 2 young ladies Riding fixed bikes, if you are a rider of any kind you know that they are not cheap but more than that these are "LADIES" now i know some of you already know this but i have some new readers who don't know the difference from a race bike to a street bike let alone a fixed bike versus a single speed bike "LOL" no disrespect to anyone.

What i'm saying is these ladies ride regular and they are riding fixed i don't ride fixed knee's can't take it!!!!!!!!!! so for me to see to ladies riding fixed is a wow! statement. U GO GIRLZ! Whats more interesting is that one of the ladies "did i mention she rides in HILL" i mean yeah you know hillz with a Z DAMN! her name is Pamela her partner in crime is Jessica and they were very gracious in letting me shoot them for this blog thanks P/J i call them SUPERWOMEN of the street riderz. See anyone can ride on a path,and anyone can build up their endurance to go off road but to navigate through the streets on a bike knowing others don't care about you in car's,trucks, suv's WOW! even pedestrian's get more love than T.S.R. any who i respect these ladie's and i love the fact that they roll like that stay ahead of the game and keep the rubber side down!

Hope everyone made it home or to their places of rest this evening. another blessed day has come and gone and i find myself loading pictures and commenting on what i saw today. Well today is about STREET NAVIGATOR'S. What is a street navigator you ask, well that is an individual who rides his/her bike young or old big or small short or tall in any race or religion.through these streets here in this town and surrounding area's on a regular basis and have to deal with the traffic at large. Today i must admit in the Little 5 points area i saw some very courteous car/suv drivers allowing the bike riderz safe passage through the streets, allowing us to navigate at a rate that neither slowed us down or themselves. Really in little 5 points you see that a great deal until a Knuckle head who doesn't frequent the area or just being plain rude cutz us off and then thats when the disrespect starts. While in Decatur today before i got the Lil 5 i was almost run over twice because of rushing knuckle heads speed demons and i follow all the street laws. but any who we as riderz have continue to be very visual and hard corps never letting off our guard because all it takes is for one person to say i didn't see him/her and your done! so i just want to say to the wheelers show some love to us 2 wheelers because one day i might be someone you love trying to lose weight or even your self, or maybe even your child (god forbid) out there and someone may be doing what you have done to us to them then what would you say then!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We don't want any one hurt so show some love, and cant we all get along!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello my friends i have great news for you today my baby is finally back with me and so far doing well. As you can see here is the new legs for my girl BOTTECCHIA they had to go in and replace her legs there was no way to fix her, so they replaced her legs with these new one's now she is bionic worth 6million, well to me anyway.. My man really hooked me up and did a good job. I'll turn you on to him if need be just ask.

  T.S.R. Today i have a problem it's a pretty good day outside high about 68degrees and sunny, my issue is i have no girl to take out! isn't that strange.

  I mean the other day i had a new girl and her and i was getting better acquainted and now she's gone my beloved Bottecchia is hurt still limping the specialist has to order her a special piece they don't carry them.

  So here i am alone again doing nothing can't go out and hang out with Ma'lady at all. I only wish that my girl Bottecchia was up and able to ride with me. Oh well i hope i can get her ready for the 31 we have a date with Critical Mass and we are looking forward to it. Until then i hope you T.S.R. keep the rubber side down.

WELL LET ME TELL YOU THE TRUTH A GOOD FRIEND OF MINE WAS LOOKING FOR A BIKE WHEN I WENT BY HIS JOB HE ASKED ME WHERE WAS MY OTHER BIKE I TOLD HIM THAT IT WAS IN THE SHOP I NEEDED TO GET MY CRANK FIXED BUT BECAUSE SHE IS ITALIAN SHE HAS A BIGGER BOTTOM BRACKET THAN THE NEWER BIKES AND HAS TO BE SPECIAL ORDERED. I got a question maybe one of you can answer a question for me, why is it that there are so few African American Women bike riders?

I ride daily and i ride for sport as well as health my love for the sport of riding has come from things that have occurred in my years overseas.

But why is there so few A.A.W. riderz i mean i'm not saying that there aren't any i'm saying not many... i ride just about everyday and to this day for a year in the Decatur/Atlanta area i have only seen approximately 5 A.A.W. riderz and i am looking, not just for them but for all riderz while i'm doing my shoots for the up and coming show. I believe this if more A.A.W. would ride and or learn how to ride they would find themselves in great physical condition great mind and body. The great thing about riding is that it's low impact and you can build and gain at the same time without killing yourself. After that i know they A.A.W. would become more visible any who. Thats just my opinion it don't make it right it just makes it mine!

TODAY IS JUST ANOTHER DAY

Yes Sir today came and went but it wasn't without it's joy's. Yes on this day i saw a lot of TRU STREET RIDERZ and they all looked good. i made my rounds down to the Riderz area and thought i was going to see a few common riderz but i saw the holy grail of riderz, i mean from regular cruisers to commuters from racers and health riderz to of course the fixed hard corps riderz.

I met a young man today who i asked if i could shoot while he was doing some light weight tricks and he agreed, i actually forgot his name " HEY MAN MY BAD " i should have wrote it down but i owe you one for that but you will see him in the pictures on the fixed bike with the lime green rear 700c's Rims (lol) he was nice and was having fun riding. Thats what it's all about.

Even though a lot of people cant ride fixed with out brakes or even with brakes these guys' are like the Harley riderz of the bike world hard corps, and i respect them for that. In the images you see in the blog you will see tricks racers and some one riding to stay alive! and thats nothing to laugh at. Riding is what is keeping me healthy also and i have been doing it long enough to be in shape and i hope that the one's who are riding for their health continue. so who ever you are out there STAY ON THE STREETS AND BE A TRU STREET RIDERZ. and we got your back ok. By the way there are more than one kind of bike also i for the first time in years seen a guy riding a Unicycle i for got about those. It was refreshing watching him ride it let me know that he was a better man than me just for getting on one... lol any who you guys have a great evening and don't forget to leave a comment and or your info if i have images of you ok i cant send them to you without it. and send all your friends...

Greetings to all of you T.S.R. today is a great day, for i got myself a new girlfriend. She is a little Uncultured but thats alright, because i will do everything i can to make her like the supermodel i know that is hidden in side of her. Now you must remember my main girl BOTTECCHIA is the the 1 but she allows me to have another girl as long as it doesn't come between our quality time. Like right now she hurt her left leg and we cant go out right now, but she say's she doesn't want me to suffer because she cant go dancing, around the city. So she told me o take a new girl so if these things happen again we wont have an issue. Isn't that nice! I think that is very unselfish and thats why i spare no expense on her when she wants it she gets it. Don't you wish your GIRLFRIEND was hot like mine!

well later on today me and my new girl are going to hit the town and make it do what it do baby yea! So all you T.S.R. look out for us and i will be looking out for you and we will have the camera rolling also.

Tru Street Riderz

Today i went to a great place to see T.S.R. and while i was therr i met some great people Daemon some good people in the bike shop i had a little snaffu with one of my cranks and some great customers were there also.

I told them about T.S.R. and gave them a card and told them to log and leave a message and an email so i could get back with them they seemed interested and that's what it's about for me. I must thank OUTBACK for allowing me to use their tools. They could have been nasty and charged me but they didn't and they weren't. so thanks guy's

I met some other riderz out there also, there were some nice bikes and i met a fellow street rider who just put is 700c's on his bike and was cruising i wanted to take some shots of him riding but i didn't see him again. Non the less i got some great shots of the people that were out and i also missed some but i assure you if i am of sound mind spirit and body i will get those great shots,and you will know when i do.

Today was very interesting i went on tour of the city streetz ended up down on "EUCLID" i didnt think i was going to get any great shots but low and behold i got some amazing shots of TRU STREET RIDERZ. Man i was so surprised that i got them that i was kind of upset i didnt go even earlier... but i guess it only comes when it comes when it wants ta! i hope you like this particular image and the other one.

fixed and focused on a Steam Roller

Today was a very interesting day i put in a few street miles had to do some office work well better yet a meeting and got to see a young man that go's by the name of ALEX J who i saw while a work one day on his Steam Roller fixed gear bike. I told him that i would like to shoot him riding for the blog to show some of the readers who really dont know what trick riding better known to me as hard corp riding (lol) see A fixed bike is in motion all the time and if you dont have the stamina then you would not want to even try it. If you have an injury of sort with your legs foot ankle HELL anything that may hurt you this is a bike you dont want to mess with, there is a veriation of this style of bike which comes from the OLD SKOOL which is single speed befofre most of these cats were born. i have one of these and with brakes. Did i mention most fixed bikes have no brakes at all perpetual motion with no brakes hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm! can you say no thanks! Any who i met a young man named Alex J who began to show me some tricks on his bike today the pictures embeded here are just a small view of what i saw you actually have to see these guy's ride to appreciate what they can do on an ol bike as the old folks use to say...

A thing as simple as a bike ride. You bike riderz understand that when you get on your horse(lol)with your own horse power you may start off on a journey that may be the same as any other journey but by the time your finished you will have been somewhere else. Being a TRU STREET RIDER means that younavigate your way through the streets of you city,town,neighbor hood,ect, and you become the captian of a vesile that can move you at the speed of flowing traffic around you or as slow as your young one learning to navigate for the first time non the less your the captain and no one person can navaigate your ship like you can. thats why we all choose the bikes that we do we alla have different needs. it seem simple got to the local mall pick a bike mainly by color and or size buy it. Well nope! thats how some folks see it but TRU STREET RIDERZ pick their vesile based on their particular need and the go as far as measuring the foot pressure, to how much time your going to spend in the saddle. PLUS! on this day T.S.R have a wonderful journey and keep the round side down!

OHIO IS FOR LOVERS

It say's on the License plate in the great state of OHIO that ohio is for lovers,what they didnt say was lovers of what. Was it the Buckeye! or something else. Well as far as i'm concerned it was The UNIVERSITY OF CINCINNATI (BEARCATS) the love of many different terrains, and being a place where as a child i got to experience many different things and people. I was born there.

Like this person your looking at now Ohio native Doug Frederick who i met today who is from a little small town in Ohio called Darrtown,Ohio Most of you never even heard of some pretty prominant cities in ohio so i know you know nothing of this place. Anyway in meeting Doug in the rain at work he was on his bike like in TRU STREET RIDER would be but he was looking for a place to put it while he took care of his personal buisness. I quickly assured him that it would be fine for 2 reasons 1 was i was going to keep an eye out for him, the other is i am a rider also and i wouldnt want to worry about mine.With that Doug myself and another co-worker began to speak about riding and come to find out that the He has been riding for over 20plus years, he also races which i already figured but more impressive than that he has ridden cross country a dream that i pray one day i could accomplish. Doug states that riding saved him, form what he said could have been anything. "if it were'nt for riding i dont know what i would have been into" Doug Has been featured on the Cover of Bike Nasbar Magazine 1993 Sept,Oct. he toured The World Famous LeTour de France. Dougs cross country ride started in LA where he put his rear tire in the ocean to symbolize the tip of the ocean began and finished in Boston Ma. where he dipped his Front tire symbolizing the end. "WOW" in my opinion that is the ultimate! As far as i'm concerned there would be nothing else to proove unitl the next time there was something else to proove. I could have talked to doug all day but of course time did not permit,but i thank Doug for the time that he gave to this blog and you readers, thats what this is all about TRU STREET RIDERZ those who go out and do it on the road,dirt,hills,track and or mountains.you got to love this. O' and RIDERZ we dont do this with gas or electricity, pure muscle power that seperates us from alot of others. While at work today i kept seeing these people walking by me and i couldnt help but think Hmmmmmmmm! thats odd but come to find out that today is (Natioanal talk like a Pirate Day) Pirate Palooza.. Now i must admit i no only what i was told today that this is a big thing and and alot of people are into it,and by the looks of things it really is pretty big. NOW see here we go just what i'm talking about. Last week a good person who i met while at work who has given me many insights on biking as well as others who stops and talks to me often, and is genuinely a nice guy was riding his personal bike down one of our local streets, while coming to a stop light behind the cross walk (lol) he sat waiting on the light to turn green when the turning lights turned to go left one veh was making its turn and another vehicale(according to him)tried to make the light and hit the other car on his side,which in turn pushed the other car who was in the right of way into our rider...

Now of course being a regular rider he was aware of his surroundings and saw it comming (like all ggreat riderz would) lol. He"stated" i looked for away out and then "BOOM" i was hit. he also stated that his head hit the vehicle and did alot of damage to the vehicle but thank goodness he was wearing his helmet!(OK EVERYONE WE KNOW YOU CAN RIDE SO CAN HE, BUT GET A HELMET THEN WEAR IT).

Fortunate for our friend he was not to badly hurt his pride and his courage allowed him to get up and move forward but if you look ad some of the bruses he has i think more was hurt than his pride, but he'll never tell(lol) But i'm glad our friend was able to come and tell his story to me and i'm glad he's not bike shy now as you can see from the pics he's back at it a week later. As i say the purpose of this blog is to try and bring more awarness to the community and surrounding area of the who,what,why and where of riding, and if any one would like to share there thought and idea's with the Tru Street Riderz then let us know we welcome all that is to be said as long as you know what your talking about... Thank you for blogging with me. This blog spot was created to inform you about the bike riderz in the area and surrounding area. i being one of the riderz think that we should have a place to go when we want to ask a question make a statement or other wise find out whats going on in the community your in. Tru Street riderz is more than a blog spot it is an upcomming photo documentary of the people who ride for fun,transportation,health,relaxing,racing,and sport. Then you have those Extreme riderz who ride with extreme prejudice(lol) i call those tricksters most people call the fixed riders. Any way i hoppe that this relatioship we are building will last for a long time and i hope that we can help one another to become better riderz and safer riderz. The streets are not safe so we need to fight for the right to ride safely.
